Scottish Golf and Players 1st forge partnership

Scottish Golf and Players 1st forge partnership to support affiliated Clubs with Member Experience surveys

The governing body of golf in Scotland commence a new partnership with the customer experience management leaders Players 1st, which will bolster the Scottish Golf digital toolkit available to affiliated clubs in the country.

As the national governing body builds on the foundations of their digital transformation across many areas of the business, Players 1st was the obvious choice for Scottish Golf to be able develop a member experience survey to be able to offer their affiliated clubs to harness valuable member feedback.

Players 1st, a global leader in customer experience management, have a strong history in partnerships with golf federations and associations, and continue to develop their best in class experience surveys tailored towards the golf industry.

Amelia Lewis, UK Region Manager at Players 1st had this to say about the partnership; “We are delighted to establish this new partnership with Scottish Golf and play a part of the national governing body’s forward thinking approach to club support. Our software will strengthen the support on offer to the affiliated clubs, and we look forward to unearthing experience insights across Scottish Golf clubs for the first time.”

As part of the inaugural agreement, Scottish Golf and Players 1st will collaborate on growing engagement with Clubs through the software, and provide Clubs with insights regarding their member experience as well as building up a comprehensive national benchmark. The data will also allow Scottish Golf to understand more about the difference and similarities in experience across Clubs, facility type or regions, in order to identify best practice and share learnings across the region.

Iain Evans, Club Business Manager at Scottish Golf says:

“Since we place such a high value on helping our clubs understand their members and make informed decisions, we are delighted to enter into a new partnership with market leading Players 1st. As a benefit of affiliation clubs will be able to use the membership survey free of charge.

We will support clubs in the setup, launch and data production but importantly we will help them understand what actions to take to improve their performance. Whilst the first survey will act as a benchmarking exercise for many clubs, they will be able to identify what areas to focus on and importantly set objectives to improve.”

Scottish Golf will be inviting affiliated Clubs to register their interest from 26th January 2022 with a closing date of 25th of February 2022.
